Vulkan or DX11 are fine so far, but they have inferior support in UE. The TDrDelay registry settings doesn’t help at all, it just delays the crash. I play other games based on DX12 and I have no such issue. I have seen this bug since at least few driver updates. I’m very stumped and cannot work with my colleagues who are all in 5.1ĭX12 in UE5 does not work at all, also an AMD card. I really appreciate any help at this point. Thank you for taking the time to try and help me.I’ve searched around and found no answers that worked to resolve my issue. (error 43)ĭisabling the Integrared graphics in device manager, doesn't solve the error, and my BIOS settings do not have an option to disable the onboard integrated graphics. When viewing the properties, it says that windows had to shut off the device because of a problem. Unfortunately, it still gives the same error.Īfter the update I went to device manager again and I could see both the Radeon Vega integrated graphics and the Radeon RX570 series, but underneath the integrated graphics, there is an exclamation icon. This specific driver is the newest for the discrete graphics card and the integrated graphics. So I manually reinstalled the latest AMD Driver. When selecting to automatically search for an update, I only received a message that the latest drivers for the device were already installed, and it wouldn't go further from there. After I rebooted the PC, I went to device manager and selected the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter that did not have the exclamation mark underneath it, and prompted to update the drivers. I have now, instead of the DDU uninstaller utility, tried the AMD Clean install utility from the link provided.Īll AMD drivers were wiped. Good day problem, thank you for the reply. Specs Motherboard - MSI A320M PRO VD PLUSĬPU - Ryzen 3 2200g processor with Vega Graphics Please, any help will be greatly appreciated! But it seems in this case that it's still activated somehow. I have read that APU's are supposed to automatically switch off when the board detects a newly installed Discrete GPU. I cannot disable the IGP manually from BIOS or device manager either. ![]() Under properties, it says, Windows has stopped this device because it has a problem. When I go into device manager and go to Display Adapters, I can see both the Radeon RX 570 and the Vega integrated graphics, but the Vega graphics has an exclamation icon underneath it. detected, please update to the latest drivers." I think these games are still trying to find and run off of the Vega Integrated graphics. (The adapter cable was plugged into the GPU during this) So now I can run my PC with the Discrete GPU as my primary adapter and I have updated the drivers to the latest 19.8.2 driver, but now some games like Battlefield 1 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 won't start up and gives a message "AMD driver 0.0.0. ![]() I was told on various software/hardware forums that the Integrated Vega graphics drivers was trying to run off of the Radeon RX570 graphics card, and that is what caused this crash. The PC would boot up past the BIOS screen, and then windows would give me a "Windows ran into an error" blue screen message. Before Installation of the new discrete GPU, I had to totally wipe my system of all AMD graphics drivers, otherwise my PC would not boot up into Windows 10. I have a MSI A320M PRO-VD PLUS Motherboard, with a Ryzen 3 2200G processor with Vega integrated graphics. I have recently purchased a Gigabyte Radeon RX570 4GB Graphics card to upgrade my system. ![]()
